Client Service Agreement

Digital Care Services Australia

This Service Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for services provided by Digital Care Services Australia.

By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. About Our Services

Digital Care Services Australia provides professional assistance to help individuals and families organise their digital accounts, passwords, devices and important documents.

Services may include:

  • Digital account inventory

  • Password manager setup and guidance

  • Cloud document organisation

  • Device security review

  • Digital account and subscription review

  • Creation of a Digital Life Summary folder

  • Technology guidance and education

Our services focus on organisation, structure and guidance.

We do not provide financial, legal, cybersecurity, or IT repair services.

2. Client Responsibility

Clients remain responsible for:

  • Maintaining access to their own accounts

  • Keeping their passwords secure

  • Following recommended security practices

  • Maintaining subscriptions to third-party services if required

Digital Care Services Australia assists in setting up systems, but the ongoing management of accounts remains the responsibility of the client.

3. Password Management

As part of the service, we may assist clients in setting up a password management system.

Important notes:

  • Passwords are stored within the client’s own password manager account

  • Digital Care Services Australia does not maintain a database of client passwords

  • Clients remain responsible for remembering or securely storing their master password

If a client loses access to their password manager master password, recovery may not be possible depending on the platform used.

4. Third-Party Platforms

Our services may involve assisting with third-party platforms including:

  • password managers

  • cloud storage services

  • government portals (e.g. MyGov)

  • banking apps

  • Apple ID or Google accounts

  • utilities and subscription services

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Digital Care Services Australia is not responsible for the performance, security, or availability of third-party platforms.

5. Access to Accounts

In some situations, clients may temporarily share account access during a service session so we can assist with organisation.

Clients provide this access voluntarily and at their own discretion.

Digital Care Services Australia will never store or retain passwords outside the client’s chosen password management system.

6. Limitation of Liability

Digital Care Services Australia provides guidance and organisation services only.

While reasonable care is taken when assisting with digital accounts, devices and systems, we cannot guarantee:

  • uninterrupted service from third-party platforms

  • protection from cyber incidents

  • prevention of account lockouts

  • recovery of lost passwords

  • recovery of deleted or lost data

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Care Services Australia is not liable for any loss, damage, data loss, account access issues, or financial loss arising from the use of our services.

7. Confidentiality

Client information is treated with care and confidentiality.

Information shared during service delivery will only be used for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Fees and Payments

Service fees will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

Payment may be required:

  • before the appointment

  • at the time of booking

  • upon completion of services

Any third-party software subscriptions (such as password managers or cloud storage) are the responsibility of the client.

9. Cancellations

Appointments may be rescheduled with reasonable notice.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.

10. Changes to Services

Digital Care Services Australia may modify services, pricing or packages from time to time.

Existing bookings will honour the terms agreed at the time of booking.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
